Position Summary

The Operations Analyst will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders in Operations to support strategic projects and to also develop performance monitoring tools which assist both Rental and Capital divisions of the business. Primary areas of focus will include but are not limited to analyzing operational data, developing weekly/monthly Scorecards and partnering with other functional managers to drive improvement initiatives (ie. Fixed Asset Improvement, Supply Chain Reinvention, Warehouse Footprint, etc.). The Analyst will also be required to provide ad-hoc analyses to management, lead kaizen activities and act as a key liaison between Finance and Operations to ensure alignment on short and long-term strategic objectives for Joerns.

Job Requirements

  • Acts as key liaison between Finance and Operations to drive process improvement
  • Significant exposure to Executive Leadership Team
  • Interact consistently with Operational leadership to determine level of reporting needs and support
  • Gather, analyze and prepare recommendations regarding variance analysis and operational performance
  • Develop performance monitoring tools which assist Management in decision-making process
  • Analyze strategic landscape (Supply Chain and Rental Warehouse Footprint)
  • Analyze alternative delivery models, Asset utilization and CAPex demand

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related fields.
Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in finance or related fields
  • Ability to interact cross-functionally to support strategic objectives
  • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment
  • Dependable, punctual, organized, detail-focused and high standards for accuracy and precision
  • Knowledgeable of commonly-used Operational Tracking metrics
  • Knowledgeable of Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible/adaptive to change and ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously

  • Proactive, Self-Starter
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Accepts feedback from others
  • Up to 20% Travel Domestically

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education

  • Advanced Excel, Other Microsoft Office Applications
  • SAP ECC/CRM and quantitative analysis tools
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools a plus
